It’s been over a year now when I started blogging and earning online. I never focus on PPC or Google Adsense, it’s a hang-over every month. Google Adsense requires you to reach $100 before it will send payment notice to your account.

I already established few sites mostly offer services and information. Then, I try venturing to aggregate blogs which turn out good. The site is up for more than three months now. It also boosts my everyday Google Adsense earnings and traffic to my other websites.

Jan 26, Google Adsense payment issue reaching more than the quota. I haven’t even noticed this until Thursday night. So on the following day, I go searching for the nearest Western Union branch around. However, I ended-up on SM Mega Mall to claim my Google Adsense payment. I’ve just fill-up the yellow form for receiving money and present required IDs. They converted it to peso, the rate is small but anyway it does compensate hard work.

Tip? Put up those Google Adsense ads and post something on your blog. You don’t have to do it daily. Just write quality content that people would actually find and read.

My blog have been missing on the page rank update due to dormancy. As, I’ve been out posting for awhile due turns of career events and opportunities that need my full attentions. New project new learning as time passes by. Also, I’m busy socializing and pumping up my Network online. I’ve meet a few Pinoy Marketers before 2009 end up to discuss and share experiences.

Now I’m alive and kicking and will be updating the blog with new perspective as the site will go to personal experience and sharing stuffs free. This 2010, I’ll be focusing on the following niches and expanding existing gigs that I have already.

Internet Marketing

General Forum

Auto-pilot blogs

Establishing list

Tube sites

Movie related blogs

And hoping it will be a good and profitable year for me.

Unix signals are initiated either by cron, running programs, computer administrators, or operators. One example of a signal is the SIGHUP signal, which is sent to the internet to instruct the Internet Daemon, also known as inetd, to repeat reading the Daemon’s configuration file.

It is also possible to use signals to terminate a currently running process. To interrupt the Applicaton’s currently running process (ID, or PID), key in the command kill -SIGHUP
<processID> or kill
<processID>.

Handling Unix Signals.

Every Unix signal results in a default range of effects when used with a Unix program. Computer programmers can opt to code their own applications for a customized response upon the receipt of most signals. The term used to describe these individually designed strings of code is “signal handlers”.

Signal handlers are unable to redefine two unique signals. In every situation, SIGKILL is used to end a process. Similarly, SIGSTOP always sends a running application to the background when it is in the foreground.

I just saw this video from a post in my RSS feed which came from the 80’s Transformers animation movie and may worth sharing to you.

In this scene the Decepticons have invaded the HQ of the Autobots. They’ve pretty much wasted most of the defenses. Optimus Prime comes in and starts kicking Decepticons ass off the floor.

Since there is news of the Unicron character exclusion on the third installment of Transformer, it’s worth posting another clip from “Transformers Animation Movie” wherein Hot Rod kick the ass of Galvatron and Unicron. This is a compiled scene of the Transformer animation ending.

Wooooo! Go Prime! Go Hot Rod!

To those peeps who didn’t know Unicron and Primus. Here some info about them. Primus is the creator of the Cybertronian race (Transformer). Unicron is the opposite of Primus which seeks to annihilate everything. Their continual fighting eventually ended up destroying so much of reality and various universes that Primus sealed himself and his brother Unicronin planets to stop the fighting.

Gmail service experienced a widespread outage Tuesday due to an overload router. The disruption of the service led Gmail users to get an “Unable to reach Gmail” error message as their computers tried repeatedly to reconnect to the service.

So what happened to Gmail yesterday? They took a “small fraction” of Gmail’s servers offline to perform routine upgrades as usual. Also here’s a part of the Google press release.

However, as we now know, we had slightly underestimated the load which some recent changes (ironically, some designed to improve service availability) placed on the request routers — servers which direct web queries to the appropriate Gmail server for response. At about 12:30 pm Pacific a few of the request routers became overloaded and in effect told the rest of the system “stop sending us traffic, we’re too slow!”. This transferred the load onto the remaining request routers, causing a few more of them to also become overloaded, and within minutes nearly all of the request routers were overloaded. As a result, people couldn’t access Gmail via the web interface because their requests couldn’t be routed to a Gmail server. IMAP/POP access and mail processing continued to work normally because these requests don’t use the same routers.

Google said Tuesday afternoon that it fixed the problem. And they have turned their full attention to preventing this kind of thing in the future. Though occasional disruptions are common, widespread outages involving Google’s services are rare.
