Why MMO blog? I know that this niche is been saturated and had a tight competition. I do an experiment on my aged personal blog; tweak a few codes and apply on page optimization see screenshot results.

I’ll still blog any topic that I want. The only change is I’ll be including my experiences on SEO and Internet Marketing.

But this morning, after checking my Google ads daily performance I found out that all my web sites throw HTTP Error 403 Forbidden. Next thing, I did is access the web host Cpanel to troubleshoot however same 403 error encounter. I check my email if there are any notification from Hostgator or any violation of the TOS (I have one incident similar to this, wherein one of my site is not optimize eating a lot of CPU usage) but found none. I reach the Hostgator technical supports and have their quick response which state, “The site is enabled, but was responsible for an increased sever load. Please do check the settings of your site and recent statistics.”

When I got home, I tuned-up my websites check who’s the culprit of today’s 403. I found out that my CPU usage have been fluctuating from 25% to 45%. This was too high and a violation of my Hostgator TOS as they only allows 25% usage max for shared hosting. I’ve isolated one of my website who is triggered above the 25% marked. By this time 8AM CT, my site had its traffic pick. I’ve deactivated a few plugins and keep on editing with the code unfortunately still hit almost over the 25%. Did I mention that this site of mine runs an Adgitize ad? Yes, it does have the ads installed in its sidebar. After removing the Adgitize tags or scripts whatever it is. I monitored my server CPU and memory usage. I’ve seen a dramatic change as it only logs 0% up to 1%, what a change. See the screenshots of my Cpanel CPU and memory usage now. I’ll keep on monitoring and optimizing my websites.

I already established few sites mostly offer services and information. Then, I try venturing to aggregate blogs which turn out good. The site is up for more than three months now. It also boosts my everyday Google Adsense earnings and traffic to my other websites.

Jan 26, Google Adsense payment issue reaching more than the quota. I haven’t even noticed this until Thursday night. So on the following day, I go searching for the nearest Western Union branch around. However, I ended-up on SM Mega Mall to claim my Google Adsense payment. I’ve just fill-up the yellow form for receiving money and present required IDs. They converted it to peso, the rate is small but anyway it does compensate hard work.

Tip? Put up those Google Adsense ads and post something on your blog. You don’t have to do it daily. Just write quality content that people would actually find and read.

Now I’m alive and kicking and will be updating the blog with new perspective as the site will go to personal experience and sharing stuffs free. This 2010, I’ll be focusing on the following niches and expanding existing gigs that I have already.

• Establishing list
• Tube sites
• Movie related blogs

And hoping it will be a good and profitable year for me.

To those peeps who didn’t know Unicron and Primus. Here some info about them. Primus is the creator of the Cybertronian race (Transformer). Unicron is the opposite of Primus which seeks to annihilate everything. Their continual fighting eventually ended up destroying so much of reality and various universes that Primus sealed himself and his brother Unicronin planets to stop the fighting.
